L’Etre Bidault is a beautiful detached stone cottage located on the edge of the Foret des Andaines. It is situated at the end of a quiet country lane, which serves 3 properties. The cottage enjoys views over the surrounding fields and nearby forest and stands within its own grounds. A haven of peace and tranquility, yet only 3km from the nearest village, which has several shops and a post office. Pets welcome.

Accommodation

The cottage has two  bedrooms, one double and one twin, each accessed by its own staircase; a fully fitted kitchen/diner with woodburner; a newly refurbished bathroom with WC ; separate ground floor toilet and a spacious lounge featuring beams exposed stonework and open fireplace. A French door leads out to the patio and large private garden. The garden is fully enclosed and therefore suitable for dogs. Loungers and BBQ are provided.

Facilities

The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, with gas central heating, fully fitted kitchen, satellite TV, DVD and CD players. Wi-fi internet access is also available with your own laptop.

Dogs are welcome at L'Etre Bidault. We accept up to two dogs per booking. The cottage has a fully enclosed garden and is situated at the end of a quiet country lane with no through traffic. Enjoy forest walks with your dog directly from the cottage. 

Location

L’Etre Bidault is ideally situated on the edge of the Foret des Andaines with forest walks and cycling possible directly from the cottage. A short drive will enable you to explore the historic town of Domfront to the west or the popular spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne to the east.  The area offers a diverse selection of activities of interest to all age groups. These include visiting castles, museums or the casino, to more active pursuits such as canoeing, fishing or horse riding.

Prices from ₤275-₤425. The cottage is available for rent throughout the year. Saturday changeover. Long term lets are available outside of the peak summer months at reduced rates. Cot available on request.
